What doors are best for schools?
HPL laminated doors are the most practical choice for classrooms and hostels: scratch-resistant, easy to clean and never need polishing. Stairs, labs and exits also need fire-rated doors.
Do school buildings need fire-rated doors?
Doors on escape routes, stairs and high-risk rooms such as labs generally do under the National Building Code of India. Your fire consultant confirms the rating; Dormak makes 30, 60 and 120-minute doors.
Are Dormak doors termite resistant?
Yes. Dormak doors use treated, kiln-dried pine frames and engineered cores designed to resist termites, borers and rot.
